My expertise and Promise to You

In each One-to-One Breathing session, you will benefit from my 16 years of extensive training (both in medicine as a Qualified Nurse and in holistic health) and field experience across the vast spectrum of Breathwork techniques and practices, including functional (physical and cognitive) performance-focused, somatic, transformational, regulation of the nervous system, wim hof-based breathwork and stress training, and alignment of breath, body, and mind.

BreathZone One-to-One Breathwork sessions are truly unique. They are bespoke – tailored to you based on your unique breathing pattern, background, needs, and objectives.

Personalized breathwork puts you in charge of your nervous system, experiences, emotions, and mental health.

What To Expect From Your Breathwork Session With Me?

I carry out my Breathwork sessions in my capacity as a holistic health practitioner, utilising the knowledge and experience from being a Qualified Nurse. You are in experienced and safe hands.

In our initial session, main purpose is to analyse and therefore understand your existing breathing pattern, any dysfunctional elements in it and their potential effect on your health and wellbeing. 

If you booked a BreathZone Signature Breathwork ® session, I carry out an assessment and recommend at least one breathwork technique to start the process to help improve your breathing pattern. From start to finish, this session is fully customised to you. In this session, you will not only experience Breathwork with me but also understand how you can continue to work with Breathwork to achieve your specific goals and support your health and wellbeing. 
 
Our session has two main parts. In the first part we will be comfortably seated as we do our consultation. In the seconds part, you will be laying down on a mat as we start the active breathing part of our session.

Following is the step-by-step flow: 

  • We will start with a CONSULTATION, to ensure that I can tailor the breathing practice and techniques to your needs and goals. We will simply chat, and I will try to understand you and your objectives a little better. 

  • Then I will guide you through a BREATH ANALYSIS. I will guide you through different breathing assessments both seated and laying down. Combining my Breathwork expertise with my intimate understanding of human physiology as a Qualified Nurse, I will assess the underlying mechanics and physiology of your existing breathing pattern, so that I can identify if there are any limiting/dysfunctional elements of your existing breathing pattern that we need to actively work on and correct and Breathwork techniques that are ideal for you.

  • Then I will invite you to lay down in the breathing space and we will continue with the ACTIVE BREATHING part of our session. Tailored to you, I will combine a range of breathwork practices I identified, as well as incorporating Mindfulness and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) principles based both on consultation and breath analysis – with your needs and goals in mind.

 

If you booked a Transformational Breath ® session, I carry out a detailed assessment of your unique breathing pattern. Then I explain the practice in detail and then guide through a full session. 

In both types of sessions,  

  • At the end, we will have time for you to share your experiences and ask any questions you may have.
  • Finally, based on our session together, I will take you through MY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR YOU, which includes two areas – Your self-practice: how to start to establish your daily breathwork self-practice so that you can continue to build on our session.
  • After our session, I will also send you a FOLLOW UP EMAIL, outlining key take away of our session as well as details of my recommendations for you. You will also receive custom audio recording of the exercise and practices I recommended, supporting your daily self-practice. These resources are yours to keep.

No. In each session, I will explain the work we will do together and guide you through step by step. Everything will be very clear with no surprises.

Breathzone Signature Breathwork ® is suitable to all and can be safely practiced by anyone

Transformational Breath ® is advised only after you obtain advice from your medical professional. I require this if you are pregnant, have heart condition, severe Chronic Anxiety Disorder (CAD) or Epilepsy.

For our online session, I recommend you to have a private, quiet and comfortably warm space where you can relax, lie down as needed and immerse yourself into the experience.

For a comfortable breathing space, I recommend you have the following a yoga mat (or anything similar), 

  •  1 pillow under the head, 
  •  2 additional pillows that we can rest the hands and arms on as needed, 
  •  Large blanket covering the whole body
  •  Box of tissues
  •  Bottle of water

If you have these ready, I will help you to set up the breathing space at the start of our session.

Furthermore, BreathZone Signature Breathwork combines a vast range of Breathwork techniques with Mindfulness and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
